a soprano who has done countless concerts, musicals, plays and opera. Gerphil Flores' repertoire consists mostly of Kundiman, Arias, European Popular songs, and broadway. Her career began in radio stations at the age of 13. There, she sang Kundimans and was later dubbed by the media as the “Princess of Kundiman”. Recently, she sang in Seoul among noted classical performers in South Korea - a worthy achievement considering the strict screening process of the National Theater of Korea. As a stage actress her credits include Repertory Philippines’ The Sound of Music, Stages’ production of High School Musical and “First Name”. She also played Maria Clara in Gantimpala Theaters’ production of Noli me Tangere and Paulita in El Filibusterismo, Kids Acts Philippines’ Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, Romeo and Juliet--all in leading roles. She also portrayed Mama Mary in “Song of Joseph” by Fides Cuyugan Asencio and Anne Page in “The Merry Wives of Windsor”– an opera production of the UP College of Music last December 2011. She is a 3-time consecutive Aliw Awards Finalist for Best Classical Performer (Female Category) for 2009, 2010 and 2011. She was also awarded as one of 2011 “Most Outstanding Paranaqueno” and accorded an “Ambassador for Peace” title by the Universal Peace Federation together with Manny Pacquiao, Robin Padilla and Jay-R
